About the system
PanaceaIFA T&C is a web based system that prompts and records T&C events. All PanaceaIFA related events are automatically input plus you have the ability to add a wide range of additional T&C activity. This builds into a comprehensive T&C record for you and if required, personnel within your firm. This data, which can be analysed and reported on, demonstrates what you and/or firm have done to maintain competence.

Events are categorised by personnel (adviser, support staff or management) and type of T&C activity, including:
- Recruitment
- Attaining Competence
- Maintaining Competence
- Being Managed
- Training Needs Analysis
- Training Events
- Qualifications
- Complaints
Each category contains a number of T&C 'events' that can be selected - for example 'Being Managed' contains:
- Change of Supervisor
- 1:1 Meeting
- Appraisal
- Team Meeting
- RDR Requirements
These events can be input as they occur or used as prompts for future events - so for example, if a quarterly 1:1 meeting is held with a member of your support team, these can be added for the next year - reminder emails are generated once due plus the event is shown as not completed if the meeting is not undertaken by the due date.
What other information does the system record?
Most events allow the capture of further information relevant to that event - for example the amount of CPD (as per proposed RDR definitions) and the product area covered.
The examination/qualification grid records, where applicable, the number of credits attaching to the exam or qualification.
A 'dashboard' records CPD progress/mix against target as well as providing an overview of completed, booked and overdue T&C events.
